Digital Technology
The term Digital Technologies is used to describe the u se of digital resources to effectively find, analyse, create, communicate, and use information in a digital context. This encompasses the use of web 2.0 tools, digital media tools, programming tools and software applications. At present the terms “Computing, Information Technology or Information Management “are used to describe any programme of learning which incorporates digital literacy (the teaching and assessing of ICT skills and concepts). However, this terminology does not always match the skills being taught or clearly define the programme of learning.
